The Lake Nakuru is located at the Rift Valley near the equator in the territory of Kenya. The geolocation of lake center is 36°5'30〞E and 0°21'30〞S. The lake is a soda lake with supporting highly specialized organisms; these are food of flamingos and many other migrated birds. The Nakuru town is near the lake and 130 km from the Nairobi city. The Lake Nakuru is protected under the Ramsar Convention on wetlands, the protection area was established in 1961, and the Lake Nakuru National Park in 1968. It is the first protect area for birds in Africa. The water of the Lake Nakuru changed from 1758-1790 meters above sea level from 1976-2015. The water of the Lake Nakuru was gone in the historical record in 1950’. Based on the Landsat and Google Earth images, area of the Lake Nakuru was 40.58 km2 in 1976, and then keep the areas between 40-30 km2 before 2010 ( 37.13km2 in 1986, 40.34 km in 2000, 32.04km2 in 2007 and 31.64 km2 in 2010). The water of the Lake Nakuru was increased dramatically since 2013. The data indicates that the lake area is 56.06km2 in 2013, and 53.98km in 2015, more than 10 meters of water was increased in depth. Millions of flamingos which is almost two of third flamingos in African residence in the Lake Nakuru when the area of the lake is about 30-40 km2, when the area of the lake expanded to more than 50 km2, the flamingos migrated away from the Lake Nakuru for food supply, because of the water level rising.
